Evangelist Janice Latimore Mayo

Evangelist Latimore Mayo is a long-time member of St. James Restoration. She describes herself as a praise and worshipper first then minister. She has held several positions (Sunday School secretary, Assistant Choir Director, Choir Director, Youth Choir Director) at St. James. Evangelist Latimore Mayo is also a long-time member of the St. James Trustee Board. 

In 2009, she heard the voice of the Lord and accepted the call to be in ministry. Evangelist Mayo has spoken at several venues, other churches as well as St. James. She is also a Praise and Worship instructor, having 10 years of instruction in the field of Music ministry. Evangelist Latimore Mayo has served as a facilitator at several Praise and Worship conferences, workshops, and summits.

Evangelist Latimore Mayo is a federal government retiree with 43 years of service in several agencies, including 27 years with the Justice Department. She is very active outside of her church. Evangelist Latimore Mayo has a member of the Patrick Lundy and the Ministers of Music choir since 2013. She gives all honor and glory to God for all she has accomplished. Evangelist Latimore Mayo is married to her husband Michael, mother to Shannon Holder, and grandmother to Janyce Holder. Praise and worship are her core and living for Christ is her life.
